An ode to global light festivals and natural spectacles around the world, the Festival of Lights CAL designed by Scheepjes Designer Collective member Jessica Wifall is Scheepjes’ official Autumn/Winter Crochet-A-Long for 2024. This classic CAL is a single project available in two different yarns, running over eight weeks.
As each motif is made, immerse yourself in vibrant hues inspired by the world’s most mesmerising light and colour displays – hot air balloons, Northern Lights, fireworks and light trails. Made using luxurious fibres – an Extra Fine Merino Wool blend or GOTS-certifed Organic Cotton yarn, this dazzling project will add a luminous touch to your home during the depths of winter darkness.
The free pattern will be available on the Scheepjes website and in the official Scheepjes Facebook groups. During the CAL, the Scheepjes community offers support, and Jessica will share blog posts and helpful tips for each part of the pattern.
